Doing Nothing and Is It OK?

Today has been a day of doing nothing again and I have that awful feeling that I want to beat myself up but I know it will not help.

Why do I say I want to do something but yet I don’t do it? By innate nature, is it true to say that men are generally lazy?

With the coaching that I have from my fellow participants at the Crack Your Strengths Quotient, we should take the opportunity to reward ourselves once in a while.

So instead of lazing around and not do anything, from now on, I will look for a day where I will reward myself for the Achiever and Activator theme for working hard.

Now, time to express my gratitude:

    1. I am grateful to have Jon as my friend who stands by me regardless of whatever I am going through.

    2. I am grateful to have an upline GC Ong who build this business with love and love us and our team like his own family.

    3. I am grateful to have Eng Hai as a leader who is taking a stand for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and as a result, be one who I can emulate to similarly taking a stand not just for SMI but the entire world too.

    4. I am grateful to have Happy Life Project as a source for people to look forward to living their dreams.

    5. I am grateful for my Learner theme that empower me to look for all the things I could take on to learn for next year and making my 2015 the best year ever!

Thank you Buddha for all your blessings! It has bee a true blessing to be a Buddhist to be continuing to receive all of your blessings!

A Big Thanks To My Brother

Before ending the night, watched a video of Les Brown and as always, enjoy his delivery.

I always remember Les Brown saying:

“Someone’s opinion of you does not have to be your reality!”

This was an interview done by Jerry Clark of Les Brown in the Standing on the Shoulders of Giant.

Now that I think back, had it not been my brother 12 years ago that introduced this business to me, I would have never gotten this far with my personal development.

    1. I am very grateful to my brother who called me and introduce me to Unicity and because of that, I have been on a journey of self development for the past 12 years.

    2. I am grateful to have the posture to stop presenting when I know that the message is not landing to the person.

    3. I am grateful to have gotten the name card holder and able to scroll through the cards quickly to make the calls.

    4. I am grateful to have made 5 appointments today for the next few days and arranging for lunch with the leaders this week.

    5. I am grateful for the personal development I have now enabling me to coach my son through messages.

Thank you Buddha for all your blessings. I am ready and open to receive all of your blessings.

    Build Your Network

I was supposed to have an appointment early this morning but the lady has mistaken it for coming Sunday instead.

While sitting at the apartment, I was thinking of what I can do and decided to message some of my friends in my previous employment.

It’s nice to know that there are friends whom I can contact who are in Shanghai, Malaysia and Indonesia and I start to realize how important it is to build our Rolodex or network of friends.

One of the guru says that how much we are worth depends on our network and that’s really true! So start building your network now.

    Time to express my gratitude.

    1. I am grateful to have built a circle of friends whom I can call upon whenever I am in that country or city. There are some jerks but it’s OK, there always will be and I just want to focus on the friends out there.

    2. I am grateful to have accepted the invitation to go for the International Fashion Show and gotten to know some of the affluent people in the society.

    3. I am grateful to have the knowledge of the Unicity products allowing me to share the knowledge with Amanda and her entire family.

    4. I am grateful to be present to my context or motive with my conversation with my wife and choose to be authentic with her what was my motive or context of the earlier conversation.

    5. I am grateful for my existing partners who were dormant and start to be active once again coming back to the Unicity business.

Thank you Buddha for all your blessings. I am ready and willing all that I have to learn and continue to receive your blessings.

    Work On Your Strengths

When we are young, there are subjects that we are good at and subjects that we are not. Whether in school or back home, we will always be asked to work on the ones that we are not good at.

It makes sense when we were young to work on subjects that we are not good at but as time goes by and when we start working, we still on the things that we are not good at?

Isn’t it a waste of time? Wouldn’t it be more productive to find someone who can complement us in what we are lacking?

I never thought this way until I attended the Crack Your Strengths Quotient program and it has been a liberating process for me to know why I act the way I acting and the things I am doing.

    So to express my gratitude:

    1. I am grateful to have attended the Crack Your Strengths Quotient to let me know that my top theme is Learner and now I worked and practiced on my Learner theme every day.

    2. I am grateful to stick to my word and made the calls and had several appointments fixed over the next 3 days.

    3. I am grateful to have the confidence to tell it point blank to a doctor what we are doing and take it in stride even when he says No to the business.

    4. I am grateful to have the skills of getting and collecting contacts.

    5. I am grateful to have followed the Dream Exercise now for 10 days. Things will start changing for me because I have faith in Stewart Hughes in what he wrote in the Dream book.

Thank you Buddha for all your blessings. The journey I am taking this far is definitely shortening the whole cycle of my learning process. I am ready and willing to receive all of your blessings.

It’s been an exciting day for me especially when there is a concerted effort put to making the phone calls. Though I had made just 4 appointments, am excited what is showing up for me.

    1. I am grateful to be able to have a list of referrals of contact numbers for me to get in touch with the business owners referred by Mr. Maung Maung Gyi.

    2. I am grateful to have met a young enterprising man who at a young age already had a kidney transplant but is still full of aspirations and wants to achieve huge success in life.

    3. I am grateful to be sharing with a young lady at the age of 23 who is so concerned and wants to take good care of her father’s and uncle’s health.

    4. I am grateful to have Rebecca as my loving wife who is working so hard at home to facilitate our businesses to soar to greater heights.

    5. I am grateful to being a Buddhist allowing me to learn so much about different facets of Buddhism and constantly being blessed by Buddha.
