There are many people that are looking for money making opportunities and along the way, they have come across several money making opportunities.

Financial Freedom – The true essence of financial freedom is when you are able to generate a constant flow of passive income to support your comfortable lifestyle.  If you have to constantly show up for your work, you are making an active income.  Though it may take some work and effort to work the system, you should not be working because you have to for the rest of your life.

Time Freedom – Financial Freedom without the Time Freedom doesn’t make any sense.  We are all working very hard to strike a balance between Financial Freedom and Time Freedom.  One without the other is not what we want.  We are all working so hard to provide the better things and finer things in life for our family but sometimes, it is also the better things and finer things in life that are keeping our time away from our families.

Health Freedom – Health Freedom actually means free from health concerns.  No one would be working on the money making opportunities at the expense of our health.  However, if one would to neglect their health, our health conditions will deteriorate as we age.

So remember, if you are all looking for money making opportunities, find one that can give you Financial Freedom, Time Freedom and Health Freedom.

MLM or Network marketing is basically marketing a range of products to our network of friends and relatives.  The term MLM, meaning multi level marketing, is when a multi level organization is built when marketing the products through our network of friends and relatives.

The important essence of MLM or network marketing is that the person has to use the products first and only through self satisfaction of using the products, could he or she market the products to others.

Most people has a misunderstanding of the MLM or network marketing business thinking that the price of the products is supposed to be cheap but because of the payout it is given to the satisfied distributors, the prices are jacked up high.

Now, if you will to look at the traditional way of marketing products to consumers, how much do you think is the manufacturing cost and the distribution cost?

Based on studies have shown, the manufacturing cost nowadays is about 20% of the product while the distribution cost is about 80%.  Let’s take the popular soft drink for example, how much do you think it cost to manufacture it and how much does it cost for you to buy it?

The distribution cost like retail rentals, sales staff at retail outlets, wholesalers’ profit, distributors’ profit, retailers profit, advertisement are all the cost that we have saved and given at a certain percentage to satisfied users of the products from the network marketing company.

Some people asked why not place the products on retail if the products are so good.  If the products from the respective network marketing companies, it will cost too much for people to afford it.

Has MLM been a long time in Malaysia and Philippines?  According to what I understand, MLM has started in the Philippines and Malaysia since 1970s and unlike Singapore, where it was only legalized in Year 2000.

I did not know that the MLM or network marketing industry in Philippines is such a widely accepted thing until my recent exposure and newly acquainted friends from Philippines who told me that most people in Philippines, are open to knowing more about MLM or network marketing.

As for Malaysia, there are still people who doesn’t know about this industry and there are people who are skeptical about it because of some bad experience or exposure they have of the business.

However, 1 bad exposure doesn’t mean the whole industry is bad.  Take for example Lehman Brothers, one investment firm gone bust doesn’t mean that the whole banking industry is bad.  Enron, 1 energy company doesn’t mean the whole industry is bad.

We fall in love passionately with someone and fall out of love and doesn’t mean that all men are bad and we will not fall in love again.

There are always good and bad companies in any industry and it takes due diligence to study and differentiate between the good and bad.

I am expanding my network from Singapore into Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand and especially with the recent event held in Thailand, I am very sure that we are going to see phenomenal success in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.

I read from the courses on Success Resources that there is a program by T. Harv Eker, the creator of Millionaire Mind Intensive, that teaches one how to master your mind.

I think I will want to sign up for this course because I know that my mastering one’s mind, one is able to achieve much more than he believes so.

Besides Master Your Mind, there is another course called the Enlightened Warrior Training and I am a little bit undecided which one should I go for.

For the past 2 weeks, I have been searching for information on the next mobile phones that I would like to upgrade on but I would not get to upgrade only until March next year and even though I have already decided what I want, I am constantly seeking for reviews of the cell phones that I want to purchase.

After constantly looking for the information that I want, I started thinking about what I need to do to be successful and sitting down looking for information is definitely not going to help me on my quest for success.

Therefore, I started getting down to do the basic daily activities that most people doesn’t like to do and I want to quote from one of my great inspirational leader who said:

“Do the things that you have to do everyday even when you don’t feel like doing it!”

Stop searching for the next big or hot thing and start doing things that you know you need to do in order to be successful.  I have been doing these for the past 3 days and am delighted to share that it is producing a little results.

Initially, the kids were a bit shy to be up on stage singing and after some time and encouragement to get them singing, they went up on stage singing some Chinese New Year songs as it will be the Lunar New Year of the Ox in a few days’ time.

There is definitely truth to the statement of Newton’s Law, when a body is in motion, it will continue to be in motion unless stopped by an outside force.

Why do I say that? Because when the kids started singing, they couldn’t stop.

We had a meet up on 6th January and this was the first time we had something like a book club where we were supposed to read a chapter of a book and get together to discuss what had the most impact from the chapter we had read.

The book we covered was Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, a classic that has sold tens of millions of copies worldwide and benefited numerous people like one of the Internet marketing gurus, Alex Mandossian, who claimed that he has read the book for more than 15 times.

Coincidentally, the chapter we were discussing yesterday was the Power Of The Mastermind because we felt that since we are going to form a mastermind group, would be great if we can start with this chapter.

The part that I had the deepest connection and shared on that day was from this paragraph:

“The positive emotions of thought form the side of the stream which carries one to fortune.  The negative emotions form the side which carries one down to poverty.”

Why was this paragraph stood out among the rest?

It was because I was totally distracted and very negative about what is going to happen for the rest of the years during the month of December 2008, where we were constantly bombarded with negative news about the world economy and it doesn’t help when friends commented of the job security.

As you know, I am currently still holding a full time job and needless to say, I am concerned too and with all the negativity that was surrounding me, I too became negative.

Thankfully, I was able to wake up from my negative thoughts and starting taking different action that would propel me to the positive attitude I always had.

In an event of synchronicity, this chapter of the Power of the Mastermind from Think and Grow Rich shows up at the most appropriate time and I am real glad to be part of this mastermind group and more importantly, I am really starting to believe that there are no coincidences.

I must admit that after reading a few chapters of The Speed of Trust, I stopped reading it as I felt that it was quite plain and nothing fantastic but after reading the excerpts of it in The Passion Test, I had a realization why people are not joining the network marketing industry.

When I was first recruited into the business and wanted to start inviting my friends and relatives to come and take a look at the business opportunities, I was told not to tell them what was this all about.

“Just tell your friends and relatives that you want them to see and take a look with their own eyes, not yours”!” was what I was told by my uplines while inviting my friends and relatives.

Now when I thought back, I was wondering if there could be a possibility that my friends and relatives has said No to the business opportunity because I betrayed their trust in me?

Or perhaps I have not delved in deep enough to find out what was their take about the industry as a whole before pouring all the information on them?

Most people regardless of where they are right now, knows about MLM or network marketing.  Would it be better to be truthful and honest so that we still have the trust our friends and relatives have in us?

Since 2002, I have already been in this business part time together with my wife and I have to be honest, I am still not progressing as far as I thought I could.  Perhaps, there must be a paradigm shift for me right now to build this business on a different approach.

An approach of honesty, truthfulness and trustworthy to my potential business partners so that I am able to earn their trust in me to have a long term mutual beneficial business partnership.
