I was reading an article about Shamsa Rashid, CEO of Forsa, a new US$272 million investment fund for women based in Dubai.  Ms. Rashid was giving her definition of wealth,  which I found it intriguing and I took it down:Wealth is…

“…freedom to make life choices, lifestyle choices, career choices, family choices, social responsibility choices.  It’s all about choices.”

“…not about buying diamonds or 17 mansions.”

“…about being able to say I choose to do this, and not that, and I can survive because I don’t need to put bread on the table.  I am not forced to do something regardless of whether I do it with passion or not.  It’s a shame to live a life without passion.”

The last statement where she was quoted makes absolute sense:

“When you have passion accommodated with a choice, that is ultimate freedom!”
