However, have you actually sat down to think, whatever you are looking for on the Internet, is it going to serve you well?

For the past 2 weeks, I have been searching for information on the next mobile phones that I would like to upgrade on but I would not get to upgrade only until March next year and even though I have already decided what I want, I am constantly seeking for reviews of the cell phones that I want to purchase.

After constantly looking for the information that I want, I started thinking about what I need to do to be successful and sitting down looking for information is definitely not going to help me on my quest for success.

Therefore, I started getting down to do the basic daily activities that most people doesn’t like to do and I want to quote from one of my great inspirational leader who said:

“Do the things that you have to do everyday even when you don’t feel like doing it!”

Stop searching for the next big or hot thing and start doing things that you know you need to do in order to be successful.  I have been doing these for the past 3 days and am delighted to share that it is producing a little results.

A good start!

How did I manage to locate my primary school friends? It was all thanks to Facebook.

I was just browsing around on Facebook one day and I thought that I might as well search for some of my primary and secondary school friends whom I have not met for a long time.

To my surprise, one of my classmate Nick actually still has the Primary 6 graduation photo where he posted it on Facebook.

I was looking at the photo for a long time and realized that it was our P6 graduation photo pwhen I saw myself in the picture.

Since then, I’ve been telling my colleagues and other friends that I’m meeting my primary school friends whom I’ve lost touch for 20 years on 20th September.

What a feeling! I’m really looking forward to the meet up with my long lost friends and it sure will be fun to see how they have changed (physically and mentally) after all these years

Kudos to Facebook for making this happen and now I understand why is Mark Zuckerberg the youngest billionaire on earth.

Being in the busuness of promoting health supplements through the network marketing channel for the past 6 years has actually made me feel like I am having my own business.

However, one of our members in the network pointed out that the company I represent is not my own company or my own products!

It is good to use the business I have now to generate an income or even a small fortune for me but in the long run, I should start my own company marketing my own products or services.

What a wake up call this is for me?

I have actually embarked on a journey to find my passion after thus wake yp call and I found that I enjoy helping others to sell more of what they are selling and also encouraging individuals to start up a business for themselves.

What do you think?

Would it be appropriate for me to start a marketing company providing marketing services or a company providing services to assist individuals to start up their own business?

I wanted to save on every cent I can since I feel that I’m not generating enough income for me to outsource the projects that I’ve in hand.

However, after hearing so many gurus talked about how outsourcing can not only allow me to do what I do best, I could also utilize the resources of others to input things I otherwise would not have written.

I have finally decided to outsource some of the things I am doing to people at guru.com or elance.com who could do things for me at a good rate where I can focus on what I do best:

Sharing my happy life project with others.

I never thought that this was possible and thanks to Armand Morin who wrote that Wordpress application is available on iTunes did I know about it.

I was also contemplating to get the Samsung Omnia as compared to this iPhone and only after seeing what is available on iTunes, I made up my mind.

I know that I made the right decision now with all the possibilities this iPhone can offer.

Great choice.

Why do I said that?

My colleagues and I were out on a business trip this week to Ipoh and we were staying for about 10 days.  As my previous trips to Ipoh lasted only about 3 – 4 days, I never had any challenges thinking of a nice restaurant to eat because there are about 5 – 6 restaurants that I know in Ipoh that serves good food.

However, after being here for 7 days, we were running out of places to go for dinner and decided that I should search on the net to see if there are any good recommendations for good food in Ipoh.  I chanced upon a website or blog at www.ipohchai.com where there were a lot of recommendations about good food in Ipoh.

Now imagine, had it not been for the blog, I would have really lost my way.  I am really glad that there are so many people out there right now that shares good information on their blogs.

It has already been more than 6 years since I have been exposed to the idea of building my business or fortune part time while working on my job full time and since then, I have been tenaciously working in hope of working towards my achievement of financial independence for my family and I.  Yet, these 6 years has passed to what I feel without much progress or even results to show for.

Coincidentally, my eldest brother asked me yesterday:

“How is your business going on?”

What am I supposed to answer?  Positively saying, good or better than ever, which is not true.  Or should I say, I am still working on it and disciplining myself to work on the business part time with the vision of achieving financial independence one day but I never know when is that day going to come?

When is that day going to come?  I always question myself…I really have no idea!

Sometimes, I just wished that I can see a sign or even someone telling me that I am doing the right thing and so long I can keep on sowing the seeds, I will reap my harvest one day. If there will to be a sign or someone telling me this, it doesn’t even matter how long it will take for that harvest to come but I don’t think that sign will appear

What should I do then?

I will work continuously on achieving my dreams because if I would have to give up now, all those past 6 years I have invested would have gone to waste.  Like what Jim Rohn says, if you keep on sowing, chances are great that you will reap your harvest and I am sure I will reap my harvest one day!

I was listening again to Jim Rohn’s CD album “The Day That Turns Your Life Around” and in one of the tracks, Jim was asking the 2 questions that one can ask to see what is it in their life that get them turned on, so that they can start getting off the couch and start doing something and what is it that get them turned off, so that they can stop doing it.

I am still trying to identify what has got me turned and what has got me turned off and I came up with the following list:

1. I am turned on by my insatiable desire for learning more.
2. I am turned on by the possibilities that my business ventures holds for me.
3. I am turned on by the consistent effort I am putting in to build my fortune.
4. I am turned off by the limiting bank account I have now.
5. I am turned off by not being able to have ultimate freedom of choices.
6. I am turned off by not spending enough time with my family.
7. I am turned off by not able to achieve excellence yet in all my business ventures.

Listen to the audio by Jim Rohn, which I have edited and think, what has got you turned on and what has got you turned off and start doing something NOW!

I am sure you can do it if only you believe in the possibilities that what is possible is possible for you too!

I have been listening to Jim Rohn CD ever since I started in my engagement in personal development and I like the way he delivers his message, simple and yet full of impact. As you may have recalled, I have not been feeling too good these couple of weeks and thought that it could be due to the fact that I have not been listening to Jim Rohn’s CDs for some time.

Once again, I popped in Jim Rohn’s CD album “The Day That Turns My Life Around”, which I have gotten from Your Success Store and again, the track that I loved listening makes me realized something…Jim Rohn was talking about how to turn nothing into something. When he was talking about nothing, Jim Rohn is actually talking about ideas and imagination and why is it seen as nothing, because it is not tangible.

In order for one to turn nothing into something, it takes disciplined activity. Faith without the disciplined activity serves no useful purpose, faith invested into disciplined activity creates reality. The moment one understand that, the possibilities are immense:

1. The possibility to build a career;
2. The possibility to build good health;
3. The possibility to build relationship;
4. The possibility to participate in constructing valuable things!
