In our previous meet up session of the Guerilla Business Intensive Graduates, we were talking about marketing our own business and own products.

Being in the busuness of promoting health supplements through the network marketing channel for the past 6 years has actually made me feel like I am having my own business.

However, one of our members in the network pointed out that the company I represent is not my own company or my own products!

It is good to use the business I have now to generate an income or even a small fortune for me but in the long run, I should start my own company marketing my own products or services.

What a wake up call this is for me?

I have actually embarked on a journey to find my passion after thus wake yp call and I found that I enjoy helping others to sell more of what they are selling and also encouraging individuals to start up a business for themselves.

What do you think?

Would it be appropriate for me to start a marketing company providing marketing services or a company providing services to assist individuals to start up their own business?

Since the day that I’ve embarked on the endeavor of Internet marketing, I’ve always been trying to do everything myself.

I wanted to save on every cent I can since I feel that I’m not generating enough income for me to outsource the projects that I’ve in hand.

However, after hearing so many gurus talked about how outsourcing can not only allow me to do what I do best, I could also utilize the resources of others to input things I otherwise would not have written.

While listening to John Reese Traffic Secrets 2.0, John also emphasized on the importance of outsourcing and how I alone could never have generated so much contents needed for my website.

I have finally decided to outsoure some of the article writings to some professionals out there who charges only about $6 - $8 per article.

It has been about more than 2 years since the last time I bought the entire package from Jim Rohn and I have been enjoying every CDs or books that I am listening or reading from Jim Rohn. Jim Rohn always simplify his message so that almost anybody can understand.

There is a new book out now by Jim Rohn titled Lessons On Life and with this book is a short video clip of Jim Rohn’s philosophies. It is just a short few minutes video clip but very refreshing and inspirational.

There is a regular travel show in Singapore called the NATAS Travel Show and it was said that it is full almost every time it is held but I have never been there myself.

This year was the very first time that my eldest brother and I went because our families were planning to go for vacation and we wanted to see what are the offers that they have in the travel show and to my surprise, the queue just for buying the entrance tickets were about the length of 4 exhibitions halls.

Not only the queue for the entrance tickets were long, almost everywhere we went to especially the big names in the travel industries had long queues as well and to be honest, I was quite cheesed off because I really cannot imagine to be in the queue for hours and in the end saving just a couple of hundred dollars.

At that moment, I told my eldest brother that I have made a conscious decision to be a millionaire so that I do not have to be concerned with saving the hundreds of dollars and end up investing my man hours, which is even more priceless if one knows how to invest in himself to make the millions he deserved.

I have made my conscious decision to make the millions or even more than the millions where in my previous post, I have a big dream and goal that I am working on to achieve. During early this year, I have set up another blog using my company’s name as the website and was focusing on marketing and personal development in the other blog. In that blog, I was focusing on all sorts of marketing including internet marketing, network marketing and direct marketing and tools and materials that will help me in my personal development.

However, after some time, I discover that the amount of traffic going to that blog is not as frequent as I thought it would be, which then dawned on me that nobody will actually find the words Eureca Marketing even if that is my company.

Like what Jeffrey Combs says, could it be of a synchronistic event that it so happens I read of an article of someone who coined a phrase or strategy, market it extensively, resulting with a huge success and lots of people started copying and made a similar one. If, the original marketing strategy was focused on the name of the person or even the person who made it, could the end result be ending with lesser copies?

At the same time, Mike Filsaime has also been emphasizing the importance of sending the emails out from name and not on the idea or project that he or she is working on.

Since I have 2 synchronistic events that directly and indirectly focused on the building up of one’s name, I have decided to focus on just my name’s blog and more importantly, branding my own name.

I believe there are many Eugene Goh’s around the world but I think there will be just a very small percentage of people who are named Eugene Goh and focusing on marketing and home business.

On top of blogging on marketing and home business, I will still cover the usual things like my travel and attractions, personal development, family and fun and etc.
