“…not about buying diamonds or 17 mansions.”

“…about being able to say I choose to do this, and not that, and I can survive because I don’t need to put bread on the table.  I am not forced to do something regardless of whether I do it with passion or not.  It’s a shame to live a life without passion.”

The last statement where she was quoted makes absolute sense:

“When you have passion accommodated with a choice, that is ultimate freedom!”

I must admit that I do miss him and being a father again, there is an entire different feeling when you have a daughter and when you have a son.  My sister in law did mention that there is a difference but I did not notice it until now.

I am quite keen to find out what is the cause of jaundice.  Is there a way to prevent kids from staying longer in the hospital because of jaundice?  My wife heard an old wives’ tale that taking coconut juice during pregnancy will prevent the kids from getting jaundice but it doesn’t seem to work as well as we expected it to be.

Well, will find out more and hopefully we can find a way to prevent it so that all mothers can go home with their newborns when they are discharged.

6. I want to sponsor my families to great holiday destinations, not just Sentosa.
7. I want my brothers and I to stay together in one luxurious condominium with Mum.
8. I want to build lots of temples to thank for what Buddha has bless me with.
9. I want to be seen as an example that anyone can become a millionaire.

These are just some of the reasons why I want to build the business and as the saying goes, it doesn’t matter how you build the business unless you know why you are doing it.  I am committed and I will do it and from this moment on, I will not prejudge anybody.

I have been thinking for a long time and looking for the right one to invest in at the comfortable price range I am in and I finally made a decision to buy one.

Guess what did I buy?I bought a Tag Heuer Aquaracer 41 mm automatic watch for myself.  This is the first time that I bought a Christmas present for my wife, a Christmas present for my daughter and a Christmas present for myself.

You may be wondering? How am I able to do so?

Well, all thanks to T. Harv Eker’s Millionaire Mind Intensive where we should set up our own money management system and to have our own PLAY account so that we can spend it guilt free.

Harv, all thanks to you for making my life such an exciting one.  I have greatly benefited from it and have finally understood the meaning of happiness: “Happiness is a progressive realization of your goal!”  My next watch that I will have is a Rolex Sea Dweller!

In November, while attending T. Harv Eker’s Millionaire Mind Intensive, I called my wife to ask if it is all right for me to join the Guerilla Business Intensive. Rebecca never objected and never questioned in the way I invest my money and just before we hang up the phone, my wife said that my daughter wanted to talk to me. When my daughter took over the handset, she asked:

“Daddy, can I have the Barbie Doll House?”

Guess what I told her?I said Yes and when she told my wife that I said Yes, Rebecca did not believe it. She asked my daughter to tell me that it cost S$100 and I said No Problem.

Honestly speaking, I never buy such an expensive present for my daughter because I always feel that they will outgrow all their toys very soon. However, after attending Millionaire Mind Intensive, I felt that I should use my Play account to share the joy with my family too and that was why I agreed.

I am glad that I bought the present for my daughter Meredith because she was very excited and happy while opening up her Christmas present yesterday. Enjoy the slide show:

I am right now with my boss in Shangri-La Jakarta at the Horizon Club and I was actually contemplating to wear the band that I got from Millionaire Mind Intensive where it says: “I Have A Millionaire Mind!” just as what it is shown in the following picture:

I decided to wear the band anyway to go and see my customer and travel together with my boss and it so happened that I was asked by my customer today if I am wearing a magnetic bracelet. I told my customer: “No I am not wearing a magnetic bracelet” and he did not probe any further.

So, if you are always in a fear mode and worried what are the consequences if some things bad you fear will happen, I only have 2 statements for you:

1. What you focus on expands! That means you do not focus on things that you do not want.
2. FEAR is just an anticipation of pain of which most of it will not happen.

Whatever it is, just act in spite of fear and I am sure you will be able to achieve whatever you want. I believe in you.

There are 6 jars in the picture that has specific purposes:

1. FFA – This is your Financial Freedom Account. This is a jar or account that you used to grow your assets with positive cash flow whether is it stocks, bonds, businesses or properties for rental and etc. The money in this jar or account must never be spent and you have to put in money every day to attract more. Like attracts like. The money inside the FFA must never be spent and when there are returns from the assets, the money should be channeled back into the FFA, to grow The Golden Goose! 10% of what you earn will go into this FFA jar or account.
2. NEC - This is your Necessities Account. The money in this jar or account should be used for your daily necessities like utilities, hair cut, meals and etc. 50% of what you earn will go into this NEC jar or account.
3. LTSS – This is your Long Terms Savings for Spendings account. The money in this jar or account is to be used for your purchase of bigger and luxurious items like a mortgage for your new home, your exotic vacations with your family, the HDTV that you always wanted to have, the payment for the Ferraris and Porsches that you always wanted to buy, your children’s college education and etc. 10% of what you earn will go into this LTSS jar or account.
4. EDU - This is your Education account. The money in this jar or account is for your own education purposes, not your children. As what Jim Rohn always say, formal education makes you a living and self education makes you a fortune. I would not have been what I am today and am able to absorb so much of T. Harv Eker’s had not it been for the self education I am engaging since 2002. 10% of what you earn will go into this EDU jar or account.
5. PLAY - This is your Play account. It is meant for you to enjoy yourself and reward yourself every month. The money in this Play account must be blown every month with nothing left. The only compromise of blowing it only in a quarter is when we have something more extravagant that we want to reward ourselves with, like a Rolex Sea Dweller watch that I will buy ! Now I finally know why I am not having my wealth grows as much as I want to because I have only been focusing on growing the money but not rewarding myself of what a great job that I have done. 10% of what you earn will go into this PLAY jar or account.
6. GIVE - This is your Give account. An account that you contribute to the charity or hardworking folks that you believe should be rewarded with what they do. We always hear the saying that “It is better to give than to receive” and both Harv Eker and Robert rebuke it saying that the person who says it is on the receiving end. That is really interesting. In actual fact, this term originated from Greek and the saying is actually “It is better to be in a position to give than to be in a needy position to receive!” 10% of what you earn will go into this GIVE jar or account.

Some of you may face extreme challenges in following this system as the income that you are getting right now may only be enough for all your expenses. It is OK as I am not able to allocate my income right now account to the mentioned money management system too.

But, look at the title of this post. It says “The Habit Of Managing Your Money Is More Important Than The Amount!” and I have started with putting S$100 now with the intention to double the amount whenever I can but never dropping below the previous month amount and I am also putting money in my FFA jar every day.

Some of you may think that this is hard work, allocating your finances but if you cannot even accomplish this, what makes you think that you can become rich where getting rich is even harder.

Anyway, life is a matter of choice. The choice is up to you!
