My niece had her birthday celebration last weekend in a Karaoke, just like what my daughter did last October.

Initially, the kids were a bit shy to be up on stage singing and after some time and encouragement to get them singing, they went up on stage singing some Chinese New Year songs as it will be the Lunar New Year of the Ox in a few days’ time.

There is definitely truth to the statement of Newton’s Law, when a body is in motion, it will continue to be in motion unless stopped by an outside force.

Why do I say that? Because when the kids started singing, they couldn’t stop.

As we were making our way to the pond, we saw the Prime Minister of Singapore, Mr. Lee Hsien Loong and his wife walking out from the Botanical Gardens. We greeted him and my brother asked if it is all right to take to have a photo taken with PM Lee and he agreed.

We should have taken a family photo since my brother’s family and my family were there too but guess we were too excited and it was a bit too sudden as it was our first time seeing PM Lee.

This is the photo that my wife has taken for my brother with Mr. and Mrs. Lee.

2 days ago, my family and I just came back from our holidays in South Western Australia starting from Perth all the way to Rockingham, Bunbury, Margaret River and back to Perth.

I must say that this vacation was quite stressful primarily because I have to plan all the routes of how to travel, where to go for dinner and what activities to line up for the kids to keep them occupied.

With 8 adults, 5 kids and 1 infant, it was really not easy especially when my infant son, needs attention all the time and wanted someone to carry him all the time made it more stressful for me.

On my way back from Perth, I was in a dilemma of feeling happy and sad. Happy that the trip has ended together with the stress but sad because amidst all the stress, we still had some great fun there. I remember that when I woke up yesterday morning, I was actually feeling very relaxed and recharged to go for greater heights in the business.

I was discussing with my wife yesterday as well that now we are back from our holidays, we ought to seriously make a conscious choice of the things that we want to do and more importantly, the days of saying “I don’t know?” has to really stop now.

In my previous post where I stated that I found my passion, I am right now planning how should I actively engaged in providing more value to more people.

My initial plans will be:

Focusing on home business primarily on the network marketing arena that I have been involved in.

Focusing on providing information on achieving permanent fat loss

Focusing on providing more information to reduce the number of the No. 1 killer disease.

If there are any other information that you think I should provide, would be great if you can leave me your comments.

Cheers!

I know that I have not been updating my blog lately and I have a reason.

As some of you may know, I have actually attended an internet marketing seminar sometime in June 2007 and must admit that I have invested a lot in this business and did I learn something?

Of course!

The true fact is that the internet is something that shouldn’t be ignored and I am already seeing how the small little website I have built for my brother is helping him to generate some leads for his business.

Likewise, I have been trying to find my niche in the internet marketing business though I have already been involved in the business of promoting health supplements through the network marketing channel.

Well, all these distractions, ups and downs and detours I have been taking are coming to an end.

Why?

Simply because the pre-launch of a product in end September has once again re-ignited the fire within and I have really found what is it that I really wanted to do and how I can take it to greater heights.

Give me some time and I will update this blog and it will be back to what I thought I have lost my passion but only to find that not only I haven’t lost it, I am even more passionate than ever.

Will be back and keep you posted soon.

Cheers!

My friends and I found another great place for food in KL and how did we find it, through blogs once again. Last week, I have written how blogging helps one to identify the good food in a particular area especially recommended by the locals.

The restaurant that we had found today was originally meant for bringing one of my Swedish friend who was in town because he wanted to have black pepper crab. Through Kraal, we have managed to find this restaurant called Nong & Jimmy BBQ Restaurant that serves really good food but the only minor setback is that the MSG is a little too much because we had to drink a lot of water after dinner and the day after.

Besides the minor setback, it is really worthwhile for the price you have to pay for the food and I would strongly recommend you to go if you are in KL. Take the monorail to Hang Tuah and then change to the LRT to Cahaya, the 2nd last stop.

We took the taxi there and it took us about 1 and a half hour but by train, it took only 45 minutes.

It has been more than one year since I had last registered my domain in my name and I have been blogging ever since. I must admit that I am still very new to this blogging arena and am doing whatever it takes to learn more about blogging and topics that interests my readers.

I have been writing a lot and though there are not as many readers as I want to, I discover that my writing skills has improved along the way. Like what Jerry Clark says, practice makes improvement.

However, after some time of blogging, I find that I would do myself and my readers a service by surveying what would readers want to read on my blog. It would be great if you can leave a comment and tell me what is it that you like to see me blogging more about and I will do my best to do it.

Thanks.

My family and I were in our brother’s house for dinner on last Sunday and as usual, we had our regular drinking session opening 2 bottles of new age Australian wine for the 4 to 5 of us that were drinking, which includes my Mum, 2 brothers and sisters in law and myself. We had a bottle of Shiraz where my sister in law bought on her way back from Shanghai and the other from the free wine I always have from Shangri-La.

During our dinner session, we had a discussion to conclude where we are going for vacation during the Singapore holidays season in November and December and my brother and sister in law, who is stationed in Shanghai, may also be joining us on our trip to Japan in November.

As you may know, the cost of living in Japan is pretty expensive and we were all talking about ways and possibilities of how we can utilize the number of days and the budget we have to maximize our stay and enjoyment in Japan.

Isn’t that what most people who are at work or even on shoestring budget think about most of the time when they are planning for vacations?

Like what I mentioned on my previous post, I have really made a conscious decision to become a millionaire so that I do not have to be concerned of saving tens of dollars or getting the useless free gift from a travel fair. I know this may pissed some people off and I don’t mean to but unless one changes the state of mind to become wealthy, we will always be stuck in a poverty consciousness mindset.

We should start changing our mindset to a Prosperity Consciousness mindset and from then on, we can start going to vacations anytime and anywhere without having to worry about the cost.

Would you like to have that too?

I am sure you would because I sure will!

To your dream vacation!

In 6 days’ time, Beijing will be having their opening ceremony of the Olympics 2008 in China.

Almost everybody in China is proud of hosting the Olympics and I must admit that during travel to Beijing this year, the attitude of the local Pekinese is really good and everyone that you greet are so jovial and so polite, unlike Beijing a few years ago.

I still remember that I was in Thailand in 2002 when they announced that Beijing has won the host for 2008 Olympics and you can see the elation of the people that got the news over the news channel. Since then, lots of work has commenced and I heard a commentary previously saying that the Olympics have not started but the design of the construction that China is building for the Olympics could be awarded some great awards and set some world records.

I was departing from the new Beijing Airport Terminal 3 in early July and I am amazed at the sheer size of the airport. The new airport is huge with more than 60 gates and I understand that the old Terminal 1 will be fully dedicated to flights departing for other cities that is co-hosting the Olympics.

The picture shown is what you see upon clearing the immigration and security check, impressive isn’t it?

My brother and sister in law with their family, who are stationed in Shanghai, are back in Singapore for their summer vacation. Before coming to Singapore, my brother called and asked if it is all right for him to bring the Nitendo Wii to Singapore so that his kids can play when they are bored and of course, I said Yes.

I have always been enjoying playing console games until my endeavor into my part time business where I felt that playing games was a waste of time because it will not help me to achieve my goals sooner. Therefore, it has been more than a couple of years that I had actually sat down and enjoy playing games.

When the Nitendo Wii was fixed up on Sunday, I had my first share of playing together with my wife and I felt really relaxed. It was really a nice feeling and ever since then, I decided to set aside about half an hour each weekday to play the Nitendo Wii to relax a little.

Sometimes, you cannot help but to admit that every thing happens for a reason.

I was invited to attend a Success Permission Seminar preview by Dr. Sundardas 2 days ago and Dr. Sundardas was talking about Childhood Programming. One of the questions was “I am often described as a serious person and I have difficulty enjoying life” and my answer to that question was Yes.

The missing permission for this statement was “The Permission To Be A Child” and guess what, I seem to have my real life issues of being too tensed and too serious, having imbalance in my life of focusing too much on work and not relaxing enough that may be causing me not to achieve my goals in life sooner.

Everything in life has to be balanced!

Now that I know what I am missing and with just setting aside half an hour each weekday to play the Nitendo Wii, I know I am heading in the right direction of having a great balance in my life.

What about you? Are you working too much without play or are you playing too much without work? Either one is bad because that means you are not having a balance in your life and when that happens, the one that is overly deprived will one day sabotaged you!

Starting doing something now before it is too late.

All the best!
