A Better Person Through Personal Development!

I shared with my customer Adi today that I have a blog right now. He was asking what was it that I am writing and I told him it is almost anything on myself, family, personal development and etc. It was before lunch time when he asked and I was actually quite honored to know that he took the time to take a look at my blog during lunch.

After lunch, Adi was asking me what is it that I am focusing or my target group in my blog…I told him that the blog was just like my diary and I am writing anything about my traveling, my family, books that I am reading, thoughts that I am thinking and nothing in particular. At the same time, I am using this blog to practice my writing skills because I always felt that my writing skills can always be better.

Adi then suggested for me to think of a target group that I would like to focus on like marketing or travel or food and cuisine and so on because I must always have something that is interesting for people to visit my blogs again. What he says really make sense and after some thinking, I felt that I should focus on my blog on personal development.

I am in no way compared to the gurus like Anthony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Dr. Denis Waitley, Jim Rohn or T. Harv Eker but what I can share is how the personal development that I have been engaging in since my first book Rich Dad Poor Dad have had a positive impact in my life where all my friends and relatives, especially my wife and my Mum and even my boss, says that I am a much nicer person to be with right now.

I try to make it a point to listen to a CD or MP3 or read a book on personal development everyday. I am right now listening to Dr. Denis Waitley Seeds of Greatness, Brian Tracy’s The Psychology of Achievement and re-reading Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich book again.

What about you? Have you been engaging in personal development everyday?

If I can do it, I am sure you can do it too! Trust me, it really helps and you will be amazed how much of a better person you have become after consistently engaging in personal development.
