Shifting Of Blog

I have finally decided to set up my own company together with my wife focusing on marketing activities and will be shifting part of my blog to my new website that will be focusing mainly on the following:

  1. All forms of marketing activities
  2. Personal Development
  3. Books and Resources

This blog will be mainly posting blogs on my travels, family and myself.

By the way, the name of my company is called:

Eureca Marketing - The AHA Moment In Marketing!
http://www.eurecamarketing.com

Why Eureca?

Well, it is actually the work Eureka but then I thought of it to be a bit unique and combine my name and my wife’s name, Eugene and Rebecca and that is where we got the name

EURECA

I am looking forward to posting in that blog because I will share with all the things I have went through in all the business ventures.  So it will be mainly a blog sharing experiences of my business ventures.

See you at the other blog soon.

A Life Without Limits

Sometimes, it is all the little events in life that make a change or could even be the day that turns your life around. I was accompanying my wife to see her gynecologist the other day when I was reading on the article about Shamsa Rashid, CEO of Forsa, new US$272m investment fund for women based in Dubai and she was quoted what a life without limits is.

I have taken a picture of the quoted saying making use of technology so that I do not have to write it down. Enjoy:

A Life Without Limits

What’s Got You Turned On And What’s Got You Turned Off?

Have you ever thought to yourself the 2 questions on this post?

  1. What’s got you turned on?
  2. What’s got you turned off?

I was listening again to Jim Rohn’s CD album “The Day That Turns Your Life Around” and in one of the tracks, Jim was asking the 2 questions that one can ask to see what is it in their life that get them turned on, so that they can start getting off the couch and start doing something and what is it that get them turned off, so that they can stop doing it.

I am still trying to identify what has got me turned and what has got me turned off and I came up with the following list: Read the rest of this entry »

My Son Can’t Come Back Yet…

My wife just had a call from the paediatrician and was told that even after the phototherapy, my son who is slightly jaundiced when we left the hospital yesterday, his readings was even higher today and it seems like he has to stay in the hospital for another 2 days.

I must admit that I do miss him and being a father again, there is an entire different feeling when you have a daughter and when you have a son.  My sister in law did mention that there is a difference but I did not notice it until now.

I am quite keen to find out what is the cause of jaundice.  Is there a way to prevent kids from staying longer in the hospital because of jaundice?  My wife heard an old wives’ tale that taking coconut juice during pregnancy will prevent the kids from getting jaundice but it doesn’t seem to work as well as we expected it to be.

Well, will find out more and hopefully we can find a way to prevent it so that all mothers can go home with their newborns when they are discharged.
