How To Do Affiliate Marketing With Clickbank?
Clickbank is the Internet’s largest digital marketplace, where publishers promote their products and affiliate marketers market the available products.
I was posed with a question by a friend if we should have a landing page for marketing Clickbank products and that made me think…
Do we need to have a landing page for marketing Clickbank products?I think the answer depends on how are you going to do it. If you intend to promote Clickbank products by running AdWords campaign, then you don’t really need to have a landing page.
Learning from AdWords Miracle, which teaches how to identify a good Clickbank product, I will just briefly describe how to identify a marketable product from Clickbank:
- Look within a niche product that has a gravity of between 10 – 70 so that it is not too new nor is it too widely marketed…
- Go and find out more about the trends of the product you selected to see if it is a dying trend or is it a upclimbing trend…
- Look at Google to see if there is a same website promoting the products and who are you competing against because it is not worth it to compete with too many people on the same products…
- If others are using landing page on their AdWords campaign to market the products, copy their url and paste it on the Site-Related Keywords tab of Google AdWords Kewords Tool to see what keywords are others using…
- DO NOT click on the AdWords campaign others are running because it is unethical to do so! (You do not want others to do that to you either, right?)
If you intend to run AdWords campaigns aggressively, I would strongly recommend AdWords Miracle because I have gotten gold nuggets of information that gave me ideas that I would not have thought of.
Now, if you intends to promote Clickbank products using a landing page, it will definitely be more cost effective as compared to running AdWords campaign but then you will have to use the search engine optimization skills to bring your landing page to the first few organic results in Google.
I got a copy of Search Engine Success from Dan Borlan, highly recommended by Mike Filsaime and am utilising the useful tips to bring up the rankings. I will come back with more postings about Search Engine Success once I have achieved great results with it.
Just remember to treat this internet marketing venture as a regular business venture because it also takes time to build. I believe with diligence coupled with persistence, you can achieve good results too.
